Mr. Tim Thies is our Principal and teaches 6th
through 8th grades. He has been at Bethany since
2009, previously serving for 6 years at Good
Shepherd Lutheran School in Midland, MI. Mr.
Thies also serves as Science instructor.
Miss Sarah Gullixson teaches 3rd -5th grades. She is a graduate of Bethany Lutheran College and has been with us since 2006. Miss Gullixson is our Phy Ed. teacher and assists with music accompaniment.
Mrs. Barb Mantey is our 1st & 2nd grade teacher and has been at Bethany Lutheran since 1992, recently celebrating her 25th year of teaching. Mrs. Mantey leads our music classes and directs the Jr. Choir.
Mrs. Becky Bergemann has taught our Kindergarten students since 2006, and directs our Art program. She has the honor of being the only faculty member to also be a graduate of our elementary school!
Mrs. Janine Thies has directed Bethany's Early Learning Center program at Bethany since 2009 and assists with music accompaniment. She and Mr. Thies met at Bethany and were married in the summer of 2010.
OTHER STAFF:
Mrs. Melissa Pittenger teaches Gr. 5-6 half-days; Mrs. Carrie Grey teaches AM Preschool; Mrs. Roberta Highfill and Mrs. Nancy Lorette teach piano; Pastor Pittenger and Vicar Willitz teach confirmation.
