Adult Bible Class/Sunday School- Meets Sundays at 9:45 AM. This is our Sunday School for adults. Come join us after the first service or before the
second service--the coffeepot is always on and cookies/donuts have been known to appear nearby.
Adult Information Class (What Does the Bible Say?) - During this 12-week video-augmented class for adults you'll:
---Get acquainted with the Bible and its life-giving message.
---Compare what various churches teach and believe.
---Become familiar with the Lutheran Church and know what your children are taught in Sunday School and in our day school.
---Have an opportunity to ask those 'doubting' questions, and listen as others ask questions you wish to have answered too.
Class is open to all: newcomers, inquirers, doubters, prospective members, non-member school parents, members. There is NO cost. Just come! Babysitting is provided. This class is offered twice during the year, once in the Fall and once in the winter, usually on Sunday evenings from 5-6:30pm.
Ladies' Bible Fellowship - Wednesdays at 9:30 AM during the school year (or as arranged). Pastor leads in a variety of topics. Share the company of other Christian women while learning more about God's love for you!
Ladies Guild - Third Tuesdays at 7:00PM September-June. Devotions and a continuing Bible Study (led by Pastor) start the evening. A business meeting, refreshments and fellowship time follow.
Lutheran Youth Society (High School) - Our teen group for confirmed/confirmation age youth of the congregation. LYS meets first Sunday of the month, 9:45am at the church (during the Sunday School hour). A Bible Study or devotional period is held, followed by games and fellowship.
Power Parenting - Offered in conjunction with our Thursday Preschool PowerHour sessions, this 30-minute mini-class explores various parenting topics of interest to those with young children at home. Our guide as we explore God's Word is the book "Patient Parenting-Raising Your Kids in the Shadow of the Cross" by John Juern.
Sunday School classes for Toddlers - High School - Sundays at 9:45 AM. All except the Toddlers meet in the sanctuary for a brief opening led by Pastor, then dismiss with their teachers to classrooms for stories, songs and crafts. The Toddlers meet in the cry room off the narthex; parents, you are welcomed and encouraged to stay until your little ones (18 months-4 years) feel comfortable on their own.
