Being a"confessional" Lutheran church means that
we take God's Word very seriously and very literally -
believing that it is the only source of rule and
doctrine, and that Scripture is correctly explained in
the Lutheran Confessions (the unaltered Book of
Concord of 1580). We believe the Church cannot
serve the people of this world if teachings and
doctrines are changed to reflect current trends.
Rather, God's Word is that which causes change -
the Gospel brings about a life that pleases God by
serving it's fellow men and women.
